Marley and me by: John Grogan

John and Jenny decide to get a dog so they can have practice taking care of a child. Dogs are simple you just feed them, give them water and take them out every once in a while. NOT THIS DOG. Marley is a handful! His mom is great, kind and nice, but I guess he took on after his father his father is wild, fearful of and running free. When John sees through the puppy dog eyes, he realizes that it's what's inside that counts.

This book really got me. I was fighting back the tears at the end but I couldn't. It is hilarious and I always wanted to read the funny parts to my mom. She would laugh at it too. I recommend this book to people that like funny and sad books.

Bloomability by:Sharon Creech

First life:
Dinnie's sister gets a baby, Dinnie's brother goes to jail, Dinnie's mother hardly speaks with her relatives, Dinnie's father is looking for the right opportunity and Dinnie's family is moving from one place to the next.
Second life:
Dinnie goes to live with her aunt and uncle who she barely knows up in the Mountains of Switzerland. She goes on a journey and sees it as her new opportunity that is filled with changes and danger at every turn.

I love this book because Dinnie changes a lot. In the beginning of the book, she is scared and she does not want to adapt to her life in Switzerland to go back to her family. In the End she is more confident, speaks her own mind and she makes a lot of new friends that she will keep forever.I recommend this book to people who like books filled with adventure and suspense and can understand people.
